Viewing body language videos is one of the best ways to learn the art of body language. When mastered, one is capable of powerfully communicating to the other person’s subconscious mind. Every time you meet new people you create a impression either bad or good, their subconscious mind notices every minute quality, movement and expression and gives the person information about who you are, your intentions and other important signals.

When these perceptions are formed, we often describe it as Gut Feeling.
To make a good impression on others (and to send the right messages) you need to have a good personality and the art of projecting quality body language.

The Body Language Videos blog is designed to give you the very best information out there. Below are a few general points any person should know to project a Charming Personality.
On this site, pay attention to the following:

Body Language Videos Tip #1: The Art of Greeting: When you go to different places, the way of greeting differs. For example, giving a handshake always doesn’t work in India, where they prefer their way of greeting i.e. Namastey (Hindi).
So we have to adapt accordingly and greet a person properly.
If you prefer giving a handshake then you should always give a firm handshake.

Body Language Videos Tip #2: The Art of Speech: Although body language is non-verbal Communication, its crucial to combine it with good verbal communication.  A person should always be clear and precise about what he is speaking. If you ever end up stammering, just compose yourself and continue.  Project confidence and understand the levels that different people communicate at. Here’s a free report that you’ll want to check out. (Although, it’s designed for men having success with women, you can use this unique concept for interviews, networking and romance. http://superseductionpower.com/loc-book.html)

Special Tip: The Art of Smiling: A good genuine smile is the most signal you can send to the person’s subconscious mind.

Special Tip: Don’t stare or Narrow your eyes: Making direct eye contact for more then 5 seconds gives a uncomfortable feeling to the other person. Even if you are having a conversation, you should make sure that you are not staring at the person. Narrowing your eyes on a person gives them a feeling that you don’t like them.

Special Tip: Do not fidget: Doesn’t matter whether you are confident or not, you should never send the message that you lack confidence. Sometimes people with confidence hold onto to habits that send the wrong message. Fidgeting is one of those signs that most people read as a lack of confidence. Whenever you feel nervous (shaking your legs or tapping your fingers which distracts the other person), take slow deep breaths, smile and enjoy the moment. If you do those 3 things, you’ll notice that it’s almost impossible to fidget. More importantly, you’ll project the type of confidence that relaxes the other person.

Special Tip: While having a conversation lean a little bit, but not much to show that you are interested and nod ocaasionally when the other person is speaking.
These were a few general points about improving and fine tuning a person’s Body language. With the Body Language Videos on this site, you’re going to learn a lot because these are hand-picked videos that teach an important lesson.

Nervousness and interviewing can unfortunately go hand in hand, but it certainly doesn’t have to show and ruin your chances at landing a dream position at your target company. Everyone, including you, pays heed to unconscious “tells” without realizing it. Ensuring that you’re communicating unspoken confidence helps companies to feel at ease and place trust in you. Employ a few of these body language tips while you’re sitting in the interview seat and optimize your potential for getting the kind of callback you’re looking for.

1. Sit upright and lean forward with interest when your interviewer is talking.
Showing interest in what anyone is saying is a show of appreciation that isn’t quickly forgotten by the other party. In the case of interviewers, it suggests to them that you’re receptive and able to take instruction easily.

2. Maintain eye contact.
This is essential. Wandering eyes communicate timidity, or worse, lack of respect and attention. If you appear too timid to handle an interview with ease, or you seem to have no respect for the process from the start, it’s unlikely you’ll be asked back.

3. Smile but don’t force it.
Forced smiles come off creepy. If you’re not typically accustomed to smiling at strangers, practice emitting warmth, and give an occasional brief but warm smile.
4. Sit in a position you’re comfortable in and be at ease.
Avoid folding your arms over your chest, fidgeting, or sitting stiff as a statue. All of these are indicators that you don’t feel at ease, and that’s the opposite message you want to convey. Lock the idea into your mind that you have been invited for an interview. The key here is: You’ve been invited. Show appreciation and go in knowing you are the best candidate for the job and one who is warm at socially adept as well.
Incorporating these body language tips can take a small bit of time to commit to memory if you’re not used to them, but the advantages far outweigh the minor cost of time it takes to master them. Go out there and show them you’re the candidate for the job.

my male pit bull has a tendency of doin the same thing the brown dog is doing to the husky in the video. trying to hump a dog and the other dog doesnt allow it. i usually stop it and break it up b.c i knwo it can esclate and if the other dog doesnt like getting humped and my dog tries to hump the dog. and the dog snaps my dog wont back dog. and they kinda argue it out over domanice sp to aviod that i would interrupt my dog during (w.e. they are doin in this video)

so they arent doing anything. does that mean i was reading my dogs body language wrong? and it wasnt a domanice thing and they were just playing?

Exactly what video might you be talking about?

And if your dog likes humping other dogs, you need to step in and correct him, immediately and so he knows you mean it. He’s not playing, he’s trying to dominate and you’re just asking to have a major fight on your hands.

The voice of racism preaching the gospel is devilish.
A fake church called the prophet Muhammad a terrorist.
Forgetting God is not a religion, but a spiritual bond
And Jesus is the most quoted prophet in the Qu’ran.

Indigenous holocaust, and the home of the slaves
Corporate America, dancing offbeat to the rhythm
You really think this country, never sponsored terrorism?
Human rights violations, we continue the saga
El Salvador and the contras in Nicaragua
And on top of that, you still wanna take me to prison
Just cause I won’t trade humanity for patriotism

It’s like MK-ULTRA, controlling your brain
Suggestive thinking, causing your perspective to change
They wanna rearrange the whole point of view of the ghetto
The fourth branch of the government, want us to settle
A bandanna full of glittering, generality
Fighting for freedom and fighting terror, but what’s reality?

Democracy is just a word, when the people are starving
The average citizen, made to be, blind to the reason
A desert full of genocide, where the bodies are freezing
And the world doesn’t believe that you fighting for freedom
Cause you fucked the Middle East, and gave birth to a demon
It’s open season with the CIA, bugging my crib
Trapped in a ghetto region like a Palestinian kid
Where nobody gives a fuck whether you die or you live
I’m trying to give the truth, and I know the price is my life
But when I’m gone they’ll sing a song about Immortal Technique
Who beheaded the President, and the princes and sheiks
You don’t give a fuck about us, I can see through your facade
Like a fallen angel standing in the presence of God
Bitch niggaz scared of the truth, when it looks at you hard

It’s like MK-ULTRA, controlling your brain
Suggestive thinking, causing your perspective to change
They wanna rearrange the whole point of view in the ghetto
The fourth branch of the government, want us to settle
A bandanna full of glittering, generality
Fighting for freedom and fighting terror, but what’s reality?
Martial law is coming soon to the hood, to kill you
While you hanging your flag out your project window

Yeah..
The fourth branch of the government AKA the media
Seems to now have a retirement plan for ex-military officials
As if their opinion was at all unbiased
A machine shouldn’t speak for men
So shut the fuck up you mindless drone!
And you know it’s serious
When these same media outfits are spending millions of dollars on a PR campaign
To try to convince you they’re fair and balanced
When they’re some of the most ignorant, and racist people
Giving that type of mentality a safe haven

We die in wars, we don’t get the contracts to make money off ‘em after wards!
We don’t get weapons contracts, nigga!
We don’t get cheap labor for our companies, nigga!

She is convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison without the chance of parole. I think it is very possible she is innocent I was curious to find out what her body language tells about her. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch the video and respond!

http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=5729188n

I watched this…and I saw what I have seen time and time again…An actress. She wanted it all. She had it all…but now, she is in prison, trying to act like the victim…I say that by watching her, not getting emotionally involved. She is guilty in my mind from what I have seen. She`s playing the victim, not playing the innocent objector, and that`s says a lot.

PLEAS GO TO THIS LINK FIRST TO UNDERSTAND! If you don’t go to this link, then don’t answer my question.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AswD0bJK8AMMVJQiLH.LrCjty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20100311024813AAgvdRH

I posted this question just last night..Got some pretty good answers, and I learned a few things about myself..Hell, my psychiatrist keeps telling me i’m anti-social, but I’m not. I’m just a quiet person, like..Imagine the protagonist "LINK" in the LOZ games.

But WHY is this a problem? Why are people telling me to practice speaking? I don’t want to! I just want to know how to communicate without actually speaking..I hate speaking to people. And I don’t really like it when people talk..My BEST example is..The game that I felt absolutely relaxed with playing was the legend of zelda, because no one spoke..It was just text, I got to read through it..
But with video games nowadays like GTA IV, AC2, whenever someone talks, I turn the volume down..
I don’t know why. Now WHY is this a problem? At my last school, I was with a group of talkative people that understood me without me having to speak. My teachers even read my face..I love being quiet..God, and It’s NOT a self esteem issue..I just don’t like talking, other then Iming someone or texting them..It’s a hassle. And combine THAT with my heavy european accent, along with people continuously asking me "what?" after everything I say.

I always have to repeat myself just because these stupid kids at my school can’t understand me. That makes it difficult to get into conversation with others. And I express my annoyance by sighing heavily, and shaking my head. I have a weird accent that most people can’t make out..It’s like..I don’t know, either polish or Russian..Don’t ask..My ancestry is literally from all over. It’s hard memorizing what nationality I am. I just go on to say that I’m a mutt. (slang for mixed)

Excuse me for ranting, but..I just don’t understand what’s wrong with not speaking. A lot of people from my past understood me just by my body language, and facial expression..Besides, people are so rude..I live in the city, and..I’m not like them..I’m calm, collective, and soft, while these people are like..Just plain loud and obnoxious. Proof of this is when I actually try saying something in class, and people just ignore me. They interrupt me all the time, even the adults..Even when I talk to someone, that person keeps interrupting me, not letting me finish.

So, you tell me what’s wrong..I’ve already told you what’s wrong. Now I’d like to hear what you people think is wrong. Besides, people best understand me if I just hold my silence..So, do I REALLY have to practice speaking? Cuz I really don’t want to..Really, I don’t..At one of my middle schools, people beat me up a lot, but..The girls liked me, a lot..And that was because I was quiet, and gentle..I never got angry. I used to be groped, even o.o..But it wasn’t until I started talking that..The moment was ruined. Yeah, I am weird, and I do say the wrong stuff, which further justifies my right to hold my silence and still be accepted.

Now it’s your turn to talk. I had to post this twice because I accidentally put in a broken link, and because I said some offensive things…Now, see what I mean? That’s an example..
Also, I don’t have a problem with being a "mute"..It’s the other people that have the problem..
How am I lazy? I just don’t like noise..

No wonder you like the Zelda titles, they were deliberately made that way. The developers thought that the player would enjoy the game more if the protagonist didn’t speak (as the player couldn’t interact with the in game characters). Shigeru Miyamoto wanted the protagonist to be the ‘link’ between the player and the game, and hence Link came to be named.

Unfortunately, verbal communication is something that society runs on. Imagine getting a job or even getting served when you go out – you have to ask in order to get what you want and need.

I would be great if we could be hermits in a cave (my cave would have electricity, internet and hot & cold running water) in order to get away from all the things that we don’t like. Other people and their rudeness/annoying behaviour/loudness are always going to be there. It’s how you react and perceive them that you can control.

Is it your accent what is troubling you? People make fun of the way I mispronounce things so sometimes I’ll get someone to say something and I’ll watch how they hold their mouth when they say it – I figure if I say it like them, then they’ll understand me and won’t be able to poke fun!

The Black Male Privileges Checklist
Jewel Woods

http://jewelwoods.com/node/9

Leadership & Politics

1. I don’t have to choose my race over my sex in political matters.
2. When I read African American History textbooks, I will learn mainly
about black men.
3. When I learn about the Civil Rights Movement & the Black Power
Movements, most of the leaders that I will learn about will be black
men.
4. I can rely on the fact that in the near 100-year history of
national civil rights organizations such as the NAACP and the Urban
League, virtually all of the executive directors have been male.
5. I will be taken more seriously as a political leader than black women.
6. Despite the substantial role that black women played in the Civil
Rights Movement and Black Power Movement, currently there is no black
female that is considered a "race leader".
7. I can live my life without ever having read black feminist authors,
or knowing about black women’s history, or black women’s issues.
8. I can be a part of a black liberation organization like the Black
Panther Party where an "out" rapist Eldridge Cleaver can assume
leadership position.
9. I will make more money than black women at equal levels of
education and occupation.
10. Most of the national "opinion framers" in Black America including
talk show hosts and politicians are men.

Beauty
11. I have the ability to define black women’s beauty by European
standards in terms of skin tone, hair, and body size. In comparison,
black women rarely define me by European standards of beauty in terms
of skin tone, hair, or body size.
12. I do not have to worry about the daily hassles of having my hair
conforming to any standard image of beauty the way black women do.
13. I do not have to worry about the daily hassles of being terrorized
by the fear of gaining weight. In fact, in many instances bigger is
better for my sex.
14. My looks will not be the central standard by which my worth is
valued by members of the opposite sex.

Sex & Sexuality
15. I can purchase pornography that typically shows men defile women
by the common practice of the "money shot."
16. I can believe that causing pain during sex is connected with a
woman’s pleasure without ever asking her.
17. I have the privilege of not wanting to be a virgin, but preferring
that my wife or significant other be a virgin.
18. When it comes to sex if I say "No", chances are that it will not
be mistaken for "Yes".
19. If I am raped, no one will assume that "I should have known
better" or suggest that my being raped had something to do with how I
was dressed.
20. I can use sexist language like bonin’, laying the pipe, hittin-it,
and banging that convey images of sexual acts based on dominance and
performance.
21. I can live in a world where polygamy is still an option for men in
the United States as well as around the world.
22. In general, I prefer being involved with younger women socially and sexually
23. In general, the more sexual partners that I have the more stature
I receive among my peers.
24. I have easy access to pornography that involves virtually any
category of sex where men degrade women, often young women.
25. I have the privilege of being a part of a sex where "purity balls"
apply to girls but not to boys.
26. When I consume pornography, I can gain pleasure from images and
sounds of men causing women pain.

Popular Culture
27. I come from a tradition of humor that is based largely on
insulting and disrespecting women; especially mothers.
28. I have the privilege of not having black women, dress up and play
funny characters- often overweight- that are supposed to look like me
for the entire nation to laugh.
29. When I go to the movies, I know that most of the leads in black
films are men. I also know that all of the action heroes in black film
are men.
30. I can easily imagine that most of the artists in Hip Hop are
members of my sex.
31. I can easily imagine that most of the women that appear in Hip Hop
videos are there solely to please men
32. Most of lyrics I listen to in hip-hop perpetuate the ideas of
males dominating women, sexually and socially.
33. I have the privilege of consuming and popularizing the word pimp,
which is based on the exploitation of women with virtually no
opposition from other men.
34. I can hear and use language bitches and hoes that demean women,
with virtually no opposition from men.
35. I can wear a shirt that others and I commonly refer to as a "wife
beater" and never have the language challenged.
36. Many of my favorite movies include images of strength that do not
include members of the opposite sex and often are based on violence.
37. Many of my favorite genres of films, such as martial arts, are
based on violence.
38. I have the privilege of popularizing or consuming the idea of a
thug, which is based on the violence and victimization of others with
virtually no opposition from other m

I’m pretty much a "privilege list junkie" . . . I find lists like these incredibly enlightening and fascinating.

I thought that maybe someone from this section may know how to read body language. I already asked in Physchology & Law Enforcement so I thought I"d try it here.

She ‘s acting.I watched with an open mind but she’s looked at all times to be acting.I paint portraits for a living and the eyes are the mirrors of the soul, her’s lacked sincerity. Her hands didn’t come in to play much and they would in a pleading for someone to listen and believe type way.Her demeanor lacked the desperation one would expect.
On the other hand this woman’s job is being in front of the audience. There’s a small chance she’s unable to switch off and be herself and let people see her desperation.
Personally I’m going with cold and calculated.I just couldn’t see any warmth.

Help me out.
I need to identify by the body lanuage of the person
if he is lying or not.
Here’s the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aG0gpvSYA8
Fast forward to 0:56 and then 1:25.
Thanks :)

At :56, he looks damn serious. Look at the way he’s looking intently at whoever he’s talking to for most of the time he’s talking – he’s being persuasive, and he’s good at it. He looks pretty determined. I think he’s telling the truth there. At the beginning (around :56-59) he looks down a bit, but I think it’s because he’s just pissed about how many times he has to repeat the same thing and how annoying it is, but he doesn’t want to be a a** about it.

As for 1:25…there’s nothing really to lie about there, eh? He’s just talking about how they don’t have a Myspace and stuff. He’s just commenting on all the nutso stuff that people say, and I don’t think he’s lying.

I take care of a Norwegian Warmblood (closely related to your Standardbred) who’s been diagnosed as permanently, irreparably lame. He used to have a strange problem (I asked several questions about it on here) where he’d limp infrequently; one way around the racetrack but not the other way around. Then once about half a year ago, after a race, he came off the track on three legs. He was diagnosed with, I think it was arthritis; in any case the vet said he’d never run another race and could POSSIBLY become a good trail horse if given time to heal.

Now after six months confined to his 2 x 2,5 metre stall, his owner has started letting him out into the pasture because being inside just makes him so unhappy; and he’s been showing real signs of improvement.

Here’s a picture of him:

http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=14686&id=737691254&ref=mf#!/photo.php?pid=5049872&id=737691254

His leg isn’t swollen any more, nor is it warmer than the other one. The vet is coming this week to re-evaluate.

What do you guys think?! Does he look lame at all in the video or has he gotten better? I can’t see ANY signs of limping, neither by the leg or by other body language.

Please give me construcive comments. =)

Here’s the video (he’s the darker one with the cool blaze, not the brown one).

I just uploaded the video and it’s still being processed; that’s why the video may still be grainy (it’s in HD quality)
Julie:
He’s a "Norsk Varmblodstraver" (= "Norwegian Warmblooded Trotter"). His parents and grandparents have been bred for generations to be racehorses. So yes, he is a racehorse, but I don’t like it, either. I think he’d do way better as a dressage horse or jumper or just a laid-back trail horse.

The confining to stall was on vet’s orders. I’m not sure it was arthritis he had and I can’t find the message with the diagnosis. The reason he was confined to his stall was he initially had a pasture of 2×2 metres because it was vital he not move much. According to the vet, one wrong move could ruin his foot forever. But he kept breaking out of the small pasture and running around like crazy, so they had to put him inside. In any case, now he’s outside again and so much happier. You can tell he’s an active horse =)
I forgot to say, we walk him once or twice a day for 15 – 30 minutes! (we increase the time week by week.) So he gets his controlled exercise. Lately we’ve taken to lunging him in the pasture now that the snow is gone.

I don’t know why everyone else is saying this horse looks sound. I can definitely see the off steps in the trot. They are mild, but they are there. He’s not dead lame, but he’s not sound.
As far as the diagnosis, if it was arthritis, I would imagine that is a leftover problem from some other problem? For example, if a horse has a problem in their joint caused by injury or infection, this can cause some of the joint to deteriorate and then when the main problem heals, you are left with arthritis. My question would be, what has the vet recommended for this? Is the horse on any oral joint supplements? Has the vet suggested to inject the joint with a lubricant? That is typically how most people treat arthritis in their horse’s joints, however without knowing what specifically caused the arthritis in the first place, this may not be the best plan of action for this horse. I would definitely ask the vet what all you can do in terms of helping it heal. In any case, as mild as the lameness appears to be, and with the only known diagnosis being arthritis, that does not scream "irreparably lame" to me…. Unless there is quite a bit more to the story, there are hundreds of horses with arthritis who get oral and injectable supplements and are competitive show horses.
BTW- he is a CUTIE!! I hope you guys can get him sound.
